The mission of the Main Street Rensselaer program is “people dedicated to continuously improving our community’s heritage, fostering economic vitality and promoting our hometown appeal.”
Main Street Rensselaer is a volunteer, non-profit organization aiming to enhance downtown Rensselaer as a social, cultural and economic hub of activity in Jasper County.

Main Street Rensselaer sponsors the annual Pet Parade each summer on the courthouse square. Proceeds go towards a proposed dog park in Rensselaer.
